Feather Friendly® worked with The Canadian Museum of Nature to install commercial markers at the museum’s Natural Heritage Campus in Gatineau, Quebec. A study by Safe Wings Ottawa estimates that as many as 250,000 fatal bird collisions occur in Gatineau and Ottawa each year. Staff at the campus observed too many bird fatalities throughout the years and took meaningful action to protect the area’s bird population. Feather Friendly® Bird Deterrent markers were installed in the areas of the facility where staff had previously observed bird fatalities. Our product was selected by The Canadian Museum of Nature for its cost-effective pricing, appearance, performance, and longevity.
