About Ann
Ann is an artist based in Canmore, Alberta, born and raised in Taipei, Taiwan. Before moving into illustration and muralism, she spent a decade working as an architect in Seattle, Washington.
Nature often inspires Ann’s artistic vision, and her work has a whimsical style that features wildlife and their habitats. Her practice includes murals, printmaking, calligraphy, live drawing, and digital illustration. She has collaborated with the Vancouver Mural Festival, Squamish Mural Walk, BUMP Festival, City Farmer Society, and the City of Richmond on public art projects. She is currently exploring ways to incorporate conservation and community giving into her work through a pilot mural program.
A lifelong wildlife lover, Ann caught the birding bug years ago. She regularly wanders beaches and forests with binoculars in hand and the Merlin app open, ready to discover new lifers. Ann is excited to combine her passion for birds with her creative talents by partnering with Feather Friendly.
