About Ann

Ann is an artist based in Western Canada, born and raised in Taipei, Taiwan. Before diving into illustration, Ann spent a decade working as an architect in Seattle, WA.

Nature often inspires Ann's artistic vision, and her style takes on a whimsical look featuring wildlife and their habitats. Her practice includes murals, printmaking, calligraphy, and digital drawings. She has collaborated with the Vancouver Mural Festival, Squamish Mural Walk, City Farmer Society, and the City of Richmond on various public art projects. Currently, Ann is focusing on research into endemic species and ancient scripts through mixed media exploration.

A lifelong wildlife lover, Ann caught the birding bug years ago. She regularly wanders beaches and forests with binoculars in hand and the Merlin app open, ready to identify new lifers. Ann is excited to combine her passion for birds with her creative talents by partnering with Feather Friendly.
